Previously on Cat[girl]urday we discovered that the Nekopara anime was set to debut in January. Not only do we now know it is starting on January 9 but it will not be alone. Not wanting to be upstaged Sanrio has announced that a new season of Show By Rock is also debuting that same day! “Show By Rock!! Mashumairesh!!” will focus on a new band of the same name. The band features a foxgirl named Howan and a catgirl named MashimaHimeko on guitar, a Devilmint named Delmin on bass, and the wolf girl Ruhuyu on drums. Little is known about the series at this time but Cyan does make a cameo in the trailer so old bands may be returning. Rumor also has it a fourth season staring old cast has already been greenlit! Winter 2020 is shaping up to be a new season of the cat. Can it turn into a year of the cat? Fingers crossed!
