I just recently finished the main story in Danganronpa V3 and have been playing through the bonus content. I personally really enjoyed this game but I can see how some fans could be disappointed. When I also ran into this catgirl Maki Harukawa by mizuki_uny I knew it was a sign to write about V3 for Cat[girl]urday. So let’s talk about Danganronpa V3.
First off there are no catgirls in the actual game. Lucky for us artists like mizuki_uny exist. That said V3 continues the tradition of trapping well-written characters in a nightmarish killing game. Despite being the third time the same scenario plays out the franchise still manages to subvert expectations. I found myself once again immersed in a battle of hope vs despair. Bonds were formed and hearts were broken. If you love a good whodunit give the Dangaronpa series a try. I have never played anything else like it!
