This week’s Nintendo Direct announced that Omega Strikers is coming to the Nintendo Switch and I am here to answer the important question. Who is that catgirl? Omega Strikers features a catgirl named Ai.Mi. Our research shows she is not someone you want to mess with. Also, do not call her cute!
Ai.Mi was originally an AI assistant created for smartphones. She was designed to be cute and endearing but after her central server was hit by Omega energy Ai.Mi became self-aware. She began to wonder if there was more to her existence than just fulfilling the request of others. After that, a second surge brought her into the real world. When she was brought back online Ai.Mi was no longer willing to be a cute agreeable assistant and became a snarky tsundere instead. This affected the app and caused her developers to replace her.
Long story short if you like Kokonoe from BlazBlue you should love Ai.Mi. It is also worth noting she is voiced by Cassandra Lee Morris who also plays Taiga Aisaka from Toradora! So if your life is lacking tsundere catgirls Omega Strikers has you covered! Just do not call her cute or she will “turn [you] into a bunch of ones and zeros!”
