Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is my favorite movie from last year. At first, I thought it might just be my personal love of Spider-Man. Then I saw the reactions from others on the internet, the critical acclaim, the Golden Globe win, and the Oscar nomination. Needless to say, the movie is amazing! One spider totem that got a major boost from the movie is Peni Parker. She is from Earth-14512 and is the pilot of SP//er. You probably know the basic spider totem origin so I will not go over it here.
Peni got a moè makeover for the movie. Although some may not like the change from the comics it makes her stand out more and helps to drive home the concept of the multiverse. Her cute anime look also turns heads. Searches for Peni Parker spiked after her trailer debut and fan art is still everywhere. This, of course, means it was only a matter of time until she became an amazing Spider-Cat-Girl. Thanks to
