This week you are going to get a triple treat. I stumbled upon the Blu-ray box art for all three volumes of Reincarnated as a Sword [Tensei Shitara Ken Deshita]. Each volume does a good job of showing Fran’s growth over the series. That little kitty came a long way in just twelve episodes.
For those unfamiliar with Reincarnated as a Sword, it is a story about a man who dies and is brought back to another world as a sword. He learns how to fly around and starts killing monsters to level up. He wants to become strong and find a powerful partner.
He ended up finding a different person to partner with. Fran is a young catgirl who was sold into slavery after her parents were killed. Instead of becoming the sword of a strong warrior, the sword joins Fran to help her become strong. They form a father-daughter-like bond and quest to make Fran the first black cat to evolve.
It is an amazing show and is worth owning physically. If you have not seen it give it a stream. If you have and want to own it, look for the Blu-ray release!
