After putting it off for a long time I finally started watching Neon Genesis Evangelion. Most people I know either love or hate this anime legend. Now that I am about 12 episodes in I decided to share this catgirl art of Rei and Asuka. It comes from the back of a figurine box someone scanned. The art is by Watanabe Akio whose work also includes Etotama and the Monogatari series. Both contain catgirls of course. Evangelion and catgirls are both essential anime pillars. It is almost scary to think there is now a generation of anime fans young enough to not know about Eva! I better stop before I start to feel old… Thankfully catgirls will never be forgotten!
