Sometimes you just can’t get rid of a cat! Just ask Land who can’t seem to shake Ubel off his trail. Ever since they met at the First-Class Mage Exam she has been hot on his tail. For some that would be cute, for others creepy, and a select few heathens would find this stalker behavior sexy. As for Land, he does not seem too pleased with Ubel’s interest in him.
The artist Fatzhai has done a wonderful job giving us a nekomimi version of the most polarizing mage in Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End. Ubel appears to be hiding a lot under her smile. In battle, she is both fearless and merciless. This is emphasized by her bad habit of leaving her opponents in pieces. Is Ubel a cold-blooded killer or a genius? Maybe she is both… I for one can not wait to learn more about her in the coming seasons!
