Tomorrow is Juneteenth, the day we celebrate the end of slavery in the United States. On June 19, 1865, in Galveston, Texas the final enslaved African Americans were emancipated. This brought the US closer to fulfilling the promise that “All men are created equal”. It is truly a major event in US history.
To celebrate here is Yoruichi Shihouin from Bleach enjoying a summer day at the beach. This is a great weekend for beaches, barbeques, and freedom. No matter how you choose to celebrate get out there and do it! Juneteenth is a day worth celebrating!
