Due to my love of Nekomimis I have decided to post something catgirl related each week! It maybe cute. It maybe sexy. It may even be a bit disturbing…

A few days ago, the remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time was released. The original debuted in 1998 and is widely considered one of the greatest video games of all time. In fact, it remains the only game to earn a 99 average review score on Metacritic. That is a pretty big legacy for a remake to live up to!

Ocarina of Time was the first Zelda game I ever played. A friend lent me a copy, and I still remember relying on gaming magazines from that era to help me get past some of the more difficult sections. I won’t spoil anything for those who haven’t experienced it, but the game’s design and story have stood the test of time. Sadly, I don’t own a Switch 2, so I won’t be able to experience the remake just yet. I can only hope to get the chance in the future.

The artwork above features a catgirl version of Sheik, one of the game’s most mysterious characters. Sheik appears during Link’s adult-era adventure, offering guidance along his journey. If you’ve played the more recent Zelda games, you’ll probably recognize the Sheikah name. However, Ocarina of Time presents them quite differently from the ancient technology we’ve come to associate with them in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. Here, music plays an important role, and Sheik is closely connected to that part of the adventure.

If you own a Switch 2, I highly recommend checking out The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The remake is already earning impressive scores, with a 96 on Metacritic and a 95 on OpenCritic. For a remake of a game that originally launched in 1998, that’s quite an accomplishment! The original is still a joy to revisit, and I cannot wait until I get the opportunity to experience this new return to Hyrule.

So what do you think?
