Get ready because Princess Connect! Re: Dive Season 2 is coming back on January 10th of next year! This light-hearted anime has often been compared to Konosuba. Both are fantasy/comedies that feature heroes who seem to be focused more on the side quest than the main mission. Unlike Konosuba, Princess Connect is more laid back and slice-of-life… until the first season came to an end. That is when the ominous foreshadowing came together and reminded everyone that there is a plot!
Part of this plot focus on Kyaru, the tsundere catgirl who is forced to make friends with the rest of the main cast. Although her facial expressions most closely match Aqua from Konosuba she is more like the Kazuma of the group. Kyaru may not be the leader of the Gourmet Guild but she does seem to be their most responsible member. Kokkoro mostly looks after Yuuki and Pecorine is mostly there for the food. When I first started researching Kyaru the anime had not come out yet. From what I can tell from the game there is still a lot more to the plot. As much as I like the light-hearted vibe I get the feeling it can not last forever…
