Stop the presses! There is another kemonomimi anime out this season we almost missed! I watched the first episode of Murenase! Seton Gakuen not knowing what to expect. Was there really room for another animal girl show this season? With Show By Rock!! Mashumairesh!! covering cute, Nekopara nailing anthropomorphism and Interspecies Reviews covering adult anthropomorphism how would Seton Academy stand out? It looks like the secret sauce is 90s WFT style comedy.
Seton Academy is not as weird as Excel Saga or Cromartie High but it does remind me of shows from that era. The jokes are over the top and there is a lot of slapstick. I cannot wait to see more. If this is not going to be a year of kemonomimi it is definitely the season of it. I almost wish the shows were spread out more. We could run out soon! Also, Seton Academy looks like it will have fun animal facts. For example, did you know zebras are donkeys?
