It is time for summer superheroes, and a big crossover was just announced! The Merc with a mouth is going to clash with the world’s greatest detective. That is right, Deadpool/Batman is set to debut on September 17 with BATMAN/DEADPOOL to follow in November. Both are one shot comics with the first being published by Marvel and the second by DC. Not only will you get the title characters, but you will also get backup stories featuring other Marvel and DC crossovers.
Artgerm’s variant cover features the western world’s favorite catgirl Catwoman. It looks like she has a run in with the mutant sorceress Magik. Can this master thief manage a teleporting mutant? Personally, I would have loved to see Selina cross paths with Marvel’s Black Cat but that might have been too predictable… Catwoman vs Magik could be a fight for the ages! Sadly, I do not see them on the list with the other backup stories so this might just be for the cover… Still good stuff! Are you looking forward to Deadpool/Batman?
