I do not play mobile games but the art and characters from them can catch my eye. One such game is Girls’ Frontline. I love deep anthropomorphism and Girls’ Frontline seems to get that. Take KRISS Vector for example. Not only is her color scheme based on the actual KRISS Vector but so is her personality.
Artist SA wanted her to look cold and serious. Her default costume (Paws version seen above) was designed not to look suitable for combat because she is a modern firearm. This is also fitting because the real steal firearm was criticized for its looks. This also explains why she has a pessimistic viewpoint. Despite years of redevelopment the Vector was never adapted to military service and failed to gain popularity with civilians. Thanks to all of this we have an emo, kitty, gun girl. My hat is off to SA and Girls’ Frontline!
So what do you think?
