Winter is ending, and with it comes the rain. This week’s piece by Lin Qing [phosphorus 1104] features Kal’tsit from Arknights in her Ambience Synesthesia dress. It is a design inspired by the real-world concert series celebrating the game’s music. In this scene, Kal’tsit sits at a piano in the rain.
The atmosphere is somber. Kal’tsit has her head lowered, staring off into the distance. Books sit soaking in the corner, the piano looks weathered, and scattered sheet music tells a story of neglect or loss.
Despite this, there are still signs of hope. Doves linger nearby, flowers grow along the piano, and beams of light break through the rain to shine down on her.
This piece feels like a reminder of what comes after the storm. Rainbows fill the sky, and new life begins to grow. Remember that as the April showers arrive. If you can weather the storm, the May flowers won’t be far behind.
