It is the time for the summer anime season and guess what! There is already a new catgirl! Her name is Tama, and she is from “No Longer Allowed in Another World”. Sadly, that is all I know about her so far. This is another show that has caught my eye, but I have not been able to watch it yet. As of writing, there are only two episodes out and I cannot find a bio on her! That said I did see this clip:
That honestly did not go how I expected it to go. In fact, this looks darker than I expected… It turns out “No Longer Allowed in Another World” is about a 20th-century author who gets Isekai’d but wants to end it in that world too! It seems to be inspired by the real-world author Osamu Dazai. No matter how hard he tries he can’t end it and comes out looking like a hero. I think I’m going to give this one a watch. We get both dark humor and a cute catgirl. What could possibly go wrong?
