This is the last Saturday in March, and I hope it will be kind and gentle. The weather may not be warm yet, but hopefully it’s at least clear. Things are looking calm over in Japari Park, where Sheep is sitting on a bench with Japanese Wolf. I’m not entirely sure why Japanese Wolf looks so animated, but at least Sheep seems perfectly content. Hopefully, the two of them can settle their differences and simply enjoy the fresh air.
This art by Beniimo Danshaku was made for Kemono Friends 3 and is titled “I Can’t Help but Be Curious!” That raises a question: which one of them is actually the curious one? Is Sheep apologizing for being too curious? Or is Japanese Wolf the curious one, and that is why she is leaning in so close? It’s hard to say, but that sense of playful uncertainty gives the scene its charm.
Regardless of what’s really going on, Japari Park remains one of the few places where a sheep and a wolf can share a quiet moment without worry. As spring draws closer, it’s a nice reminder that even unlikely friendships can find their peace. Here’s hoping that, just like them, we can all enjoy a few calm, sunny moments with good company as the seasons begin to change.
So what do you think?
