Kogan Con has a special place in my heart. It may be a small con, but that gives you more time to relax and enjoy yourself. This also means you get more time to socialize and make friends. Kogan Con may not be a big convention with lots of big guests and events, but there is still plenty to do. I was impressed to see the tables had things to draw with. It is a small detail, but it gives you something to do even when you are just taking a seat.
For me personally, I had time to see friends and play video games in the game room. It was nice to get to take my time and not be in a rush to go from one event to the next. I was also able to attend the New Dawn Kyber Squadron Demo. They put on an amazing display of lightsaber battles! If you are an anime fan looking for a fun way to spend a Saturday in Grand Haven, give Kogan Con a chance. It is a great convention for newcomers, families, and anyone looking to spend time with fellow nerds.
