The anime Killing Bites aired this morning and it looks like a series that will appeal to people’s base instincts. The plot laid out in the first episode seems simple enough. Genetically engineered hybrids called Therianthropes are created by Zaibatsu Conglomerates to fight in underground death matches called Killing Bites for political and economic influence. Our star is a fearless ratel [honey badger] hybrid named Hitomi Uzaki. She seems like the type to “take nothing from nobody” and “take on anyone”.
